Partnerships
In 2011, BluePearl partnered with the U.S. Army to provide Army veterinarians and technicians preparing to deploy to areas of conflict with hands-on emergency veterinary experiences at BluePearl's specialty and emergency hospitals. Soldiers from the Army assist and observe BluePearl veterinarians and technicians with exams, drug administrations, procedures, animal care, surgery and laboratory work when possible.
The training program is a nine-day schedule where the soldiers experience first-hand medical veterinary emergencies, something they are likely to deal with when deployed to a combat zone. The program is being considered for expansion.
