Recycling

80% of the old Turtle Creek Casino was recycled and used to help build the new one. All slot machines are low energy and use up to 50% less energy than traditional slot machines. The casino has a 2,400-square-foot (220 m2) Green Roof, making Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel the first casino in Michigan with a Green Roof. The Casino hauls away any grease instead of spilling it on the property and all cardboard is bundled up and recycled.
